Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas met with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in Salzburg on Friday.
Juri Ratas said he was very glad that the presidencies of the Council of the European Union of Estonia and Austria have deepened ties between both countries.
Leaders of both countries underlined joint priorities and and discussed topical European Union issues, including the new budget plan, migration issues, the development of a digital single market and cooperation with Western Balkan countries.
At the end of the meeting Ratas invited Chancellor Kurz to visit Estonia.
During the one-day visit to Salzburg, the Estonian government leader also met with his Czech colleague Andrej Babis and British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Ratas also attended the opening of the Salzburger Festspiele opera festival.
